Well, I could write a big review for this, or I could just do what I feel I should do. However, I am guilty myself here, I over excite about most things, so am loathe to do so again. Still, I will. 'Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close' is one of the best books I have ever read. From beginning to end, absolute beauty. Beauty in the saddest possible way. But, despite being very melancholy, there is a hope of sorts, and a complete appreciation and wide eyed wonder at life. The book makes you realise that we don't really have endless opportunities to do what we want, and that we need to make the most of what we have and when we have it. I find it hard to talk about this book without turning into a blubbering wreck, so I'll just say read it. Please.
